[HCM] Network Administrator (onsite)
We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, network access authentication, and IT service management systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Network Incident Management
- Receive, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents and service requests through ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues, including 802.1X authentication failures, network port connectivity, and faulty network cables.
- Diagnose 802.1X authentication issues using Windows Certificate Manager (certlm.msc).
- Investigate network access and authentication issues through Aruba ClearPass, including Access Tracker and Endpoints, using device MAC addresses.
- Troubleshoot VPN connectivity via Citrix, including checking user group membership and access permissions.
- Perform basic network connectivity checks and escalate complex incidents to the relevant teams when required.
- Network Infrastructure Operations
- Monitor network devices and services using SolarWinds and automated scripts.
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including:
- Access Switches: Aruba/HPE 3810M and 6300 series.
- Core Switches: Cisco Nexus 9000 series.
- Routers: Cisco ISR 9901 and 9902 series.
- Wireless Infrastructure: Aruba 535 and 325 series.
- Firewalls: Cisco 5430 series – monitoring and administration subject to Security Team authorization.
- Access Switches: Aruba/HPE 3810M and 6300 series.
- Perform routine network health checks and follow up on alerts generated by monitoring systems.
- Maintain network connectivity and support daily network operations.
- Monitor network devices and services using SolarWinds and automated scripts.
- Network Cabling and Connectivity
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot LAN cabling and physical connectivity issues.
- Work with Cat6A CommScope structured cabling systems, including patch cords, patch panels, and network outlets.
- Install and activate new network ports according to approved procedures.
- Label both ends of new network connections in accordance with existing labeling standards.
- Support fiber-optic connectivity and ODF operations:
- Buildings B8, B9, and B10: Single-mode fiber with LR-type SFP transceivers.
- Other buildings: Multimode fiber with MM-type SFP transceivers.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot LAN cabling and physical connectivity issues.
- Change Management
- Raise, implement, and update network changes in ServiceNow in accordance with the change management process.
- Prepare and maintain change implementation plans and run sheets using existing templates.
- Follow approved change windows, implementation procedures, validation steps, and rollback plans.
- Update ticket records and document implementation results.

- Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor network devices and services through SolarWinds.
- Execute and maintain operational scripts used for daily monitoring and automated email notifications.
- Review monitoring alerts, identify potential network issues, and coordinate troubleshooting activities.

REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 02+ years of experience working in Network.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and networking hardware.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
- Good communication in English + willing to onsite client.
